Why Maíz?
In Mayan stories, we come from corn—simple, essential, and full of potential.
Maíz is cultural. Rooted. Nourishing.
It reminds me of the way my mother still makes tortillas by hand each week and how care lives in small, steady rituals.
Healing doesn’t need to be polished. It just needs to be cared for.
I provide individual therapy to clients in Oregon and Washington, and offer workshops and facilitation across organizations, agencies, and community spaces. This page includes details about services, fees, and insurance. Whether you’re looking for therapy or a collaboration, you’ll find everything you need to get started here.

Insurance and Superbilling:
I’m currently in-network with the Oregon Health Plan (Oregon only).
For all other providers, I’m considered an out-of-network clinician. If you’d like to request reimbursement from your insurance, I can provide a superbill—a document you can submit directly.
Before we start, I recommend calling your provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
If you have questions about this process, I’m happy to walk you through it.

Intake Assessment (53 min) $195
Individual Psychotherapy (53 min) $195
Therapy is an investment—in your healing, your relationships, and your future. I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients for whom the full rate may be out of reach but would like to work together. I know cost can be a barrier—especially for those of us who didn’t grow up with access to this kind of care. I’m committed to making this work as accessible and sustainable as possible. If cost is a concern, let’s talk.

*If your budget is below the listed rates, I understand. Not every meaningful project comes with a big budget. I’m open to creative, values-aligned partnerships—especially when the work centers impact, visibility, and equity.
